Scope of Service

Gold Buyer Sri Lanka purchases precious assets outright for cash. All valuations are provided free of charge and carry no obligation to sell.

• Purchase of certified diamonds, precious gemstones and loose stones.
• Purchase of authentic luxury watches.
• Free, non-destructive XRF purity testing and certified digital weighing.
• Instant payment in cash or same-day bank transfer, with no deductions.

Services We Do Not Provide

To avoid any confusion with pawn brokers and money changers, we confirm that the following services are not offered under any circumstances:

• Pawning / pawn broking (උකස් සේවා) — we do not give loans against gold.
• Buying already-pawned gold or pawn tickets from customers.
• Mortgage gold releasing or settling pawn tickets at banks, pawn centres or finance companies.
• Re-pawning, pawn transfers or pawn ticket takeovers.
• Gold loans, interest-based advances or any lending facility.
• Redeeming, auctioning or holding customer gold as security.
• Money exchange / currency exchange (මුදල් හුවමාරු) — we do not exchange foreign currency.
• Buying or selling USD, EUR, GBP or any other foreign currency at current exchange rates.

Identification & Ownership

A valid National Identity Card, driving licence or passport is required for every transaction. By selling items to us you confirm that you are the lawful owner and that the items are free of any lien, pledge or dispute.

Valuation & Pricing

Payouts are calculated as the published live rate × XRF-tested purity × net weight after transparent stone deduction. Published rates move with the market; the applicable rate is the one quoted at the moment you accept the offer.

Payment

Payment is made in cash immediately on acceptance, or by same-day bank transfer for higher-value transactions. Once payment is accepted, the transaction is final.

Liability

Valuations reflect the tested purity and weight of items presented. We are not liable for indirect loss, or for market movements after a completed transaction.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka and align with National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA) compliance guidelines. Company registration: PV 00232215.
